Odyssey – Expedition Vessel
Odyssey is a custom-built 24m expedition catamaran that operates along the Western Australian coastline, but spends most of her time cruising the spectacular Kimberly region. Built by Western Boat Builders and launched in 2006, her vast 8 metre beam ensures a spacious interior, a wealth of open outdoor entertaining areas, and a stable ride. As she has been designed with long-range expedition crusing in mind, she can accommodate 20 guests across 6 double cabins and 4 twin cabins whilst also accommodating her crew in separate quarters.
Odyssey has a top speed of 18 knots and cruising speed of 14 knots. The power comes from two marine diesels driving fixed pitch propellers, allowing her to have a moderately shallow draft. With a fuel capacity of 16,000, Odyssey represents a true long-range expedition vessel.
