Shark Warrior – Dive Charter Vessel
An early design by Southerly Designs as a dive charter vessel. Evident to the longevity of the design, she is now with her 4th owner, originally starting life as ‘Sea Trek’, ‘Rat Patrol’, ‘Warrior Princess’ & now ‘Shark Warrior’. The layout is exceptional, built for the Indian Ocean and handles rough seas and large swell extremely well making Shark Warrior a serious charter vessel. This vessel impresses every customer that steps onboard.
The current owner, Matt Waller, approached Southerly Designs before purchasing the vessel to enquire about an aft deck modification including an underwater viewing platform, diving cage, crane, upper viewing area and passenger social/eating area. After initial discussions Matt proceed to purchase the vessel with the modifications to be carried out by Rob Clayton at Niche Marine.
Matt was extremely pleased with the overall result, taking the ‘Shark Warrior’ back to operate in Port Lincoln for his company Adventure Bay Charters, as a world first shark diving vessel with a deployable dry underwater viewing platform.
