52.0m Crew Boat
Following the success of the Gen 1 40m crew boats, Southerly Designs designed the 52.0m fast crew boat. Capable of carrying 60 passengers and 10 crew the 52m is also able to carry significant deck loads. The aft deck had a clear deck area of 235m2 allowing for a total of 270t to be carried.
4 x Cummins KTA 50 engines were able to power the vessel at a cruising speed of 20 knots while carrying 360t of deadweight.
Two of these vessels have been built and are currently operating in the Gulf of Mexico.
