Daydawn: 21.50m Lobster Fishing Vessel
The exceptional fuel economy, speed and all around capability of Force of Nature was an eye catcher for Daydawn Fisheries in their decision to replace their larger 24m Southerly vessel. A near sister ship to Force of Nature, Daydawn features the same hull form, with the minor change of partially removing part of the mesh marlin board in favour for a hull extension. Power by twin 1000hp engines Daydawn exceeded expectation on sea trials, with speeds in excess of 26 knots, making her one of the fastest propeller cray boats on the coast. Cray basket capacity has also been increased from Force of Nature with 90 baskets (approx. 2.9t) of live lobster being available from the below deck tanks.
