Lobster Fishing Vessel
Design and construction underway on new 21.8m Lobster Vessel.
Following on from 2016’s “Daydawn” Southerly Designs and Xtreme Marine of Geraldton, Western Australia, have secured an order for another high capacity cray boat. Slightly smaller than the Daydawn the new vessel boasts the same MTU V8 twin screw power plant, twin keels and modular FRP superstructure construction. Officially measuring 21.8m (71.5ft) she is by no means a small vessel and achieves a carrying capacity of 104 baskets of live tank capacity.
A new addition to Southerly’s industry leading range of Cray Boats the new vessel is sure to turn heads when she enters service in early 2018.
